Luiz Fábio Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Peixoto having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Marco Brasil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eucum and the Guriu SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Eucum getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Marco Brasil hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Décio Seco in the 14th minute of play forced Eucum's goalkeeper Sidnei Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Décio Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Sidnei Peixoto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sidnei Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Décio Seco's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Eucum's Sidnei Peixoto got control of the ball when Décio Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 32nd play minutes Décio Seco shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Sidnei Peixoto and just under the crossbar into goal. 38 minutes into the match, Eucum's goalkeeper Sidnei Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Décio Seco.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Brasil made a kick off. When Hermínio de Castro fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eucum's protests and gave Hermínio de Castro a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Eucum got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio de Castro. In the 72nd minute, Marcelinho Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidnei Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Décio Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidnei Peixoto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Guriu SC's Décio Seco shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Eucum getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Cauan Peixoto hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Décio Seco in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidnei Peixoto saved Eucum from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Eucum's zone, Luiz Fábio Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidnei Peixoto came out of the goal and Luiz Fábio Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Guriu SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
