After 39 played minutes, Flamengo United's Marcos da Rocha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Egídio Faria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flamengo United reached it. Federico Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Simões in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, José Vítor Paraibano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Federico Calvino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 46 played minutes Flamengo United got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Valle.

The wind increased when Kauan Simões made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Kauan Simões ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Calvino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 54th minute, Nelsinho Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Flamengo United's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Favoretto came free, but Federico Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Bueno in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egídio Faria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Marcos da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cássio Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Faria having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Flamengo United's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Simões came free, but Federico Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wiliam Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Flamengo United's Nelsinho Seco got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Carlos Alberto de Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, corinthians's Carlos Alberto de Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Calvino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Federico Calvino came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by corinthians's Carlos Alberto de Sena. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto de Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. corinthians walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
