Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wesley Custódio got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Maiquinique got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Mesquita. Wesley Custódio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eliseu Almeida came out and tried to block the shot, but Wesley Custódio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Wesley Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Almeida having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesley Custódio in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseu Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Paulo Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With 18 minutes on the clock, Pedro Paulo Saraiva commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Janauba SS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Pedro Paulo Saraiva hit a great ball. Janauba SS's Zé Paulo Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Perez in the 29th minute of play. When Bernardinho Nascimento, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 30 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zé Paulo Gerber was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Breno Sampaio came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Janauba SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breno Sampaio couldn't finish the play. Falcão Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Paulo Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléberson Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Falcão Ramos made the kick off in the second half. If Breno Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Paulo Gerber was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cléberson Perez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 58 minute of play. Falcão Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Zé Paulo Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Janauba SS booed when Maiquinique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardinho Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Janauba SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Janauba SS's zone, Bernardinho Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Paulo Gerber came out of the goal and Bernardinho Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Maiquinique booed when Janauba SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jano Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Maiquinique were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Janauba SS side.
