Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dário Silveira started the match with the kick off. Eugênio Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dário Silveira in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Paulo Gerber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Janauba SS's Zé Paulo Gerber got control of the ball when Nuno de Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Quixoba SC booed when Janauba SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Quixoba SC got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Teixeira. If Wesley Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janauba SS's Zé Paulo Gerber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Janauba SS from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Janauba SS's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Gerber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno de Sena. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Quixoba SC's Lenílson Cosme got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zé Paulo Gerber. Breno Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernandinho Galvão missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 44 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Edson Vasconcelos right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Breno Sampaio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Quixoba SC's Edson Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho Galvão in the 52nd minute of play. Jano Terra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edson Vasconcelos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. When Quixoba SC's Dário Silveira in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Janauba SS's goalie prevented a goal. Fernandinho Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Janauba SS's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno de Sena came free, but Zé Paulo Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jano Terra hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Quixoba SC's Válbson Teixeira got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Wesley Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Janauba SS getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jano Terra hit a great ball. Jano Terra fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 93rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Breno Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Quixoba SC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
