Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Araújo started the match with the kick off. Carlos Araújo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When Jorge Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Iacri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Valadares couldn't finish the play. After having played for 15 minutes, Rubens Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iacri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubens Brasil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Valadares struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Matías Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iacri. In the 19th minute of the match Mateus Senna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matías Brito skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Iacri getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Vágner do Vale hit a great ball. Matías Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jorge Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dráuzio Bueno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Váldson Neto having to make a save. Talhada SS's Matías Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens Brasil in the 34th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Jorge Valadares heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Matías Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rubens Brasil to make the kick off. Carlos Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson Neto having to interfere. After some careless play in the Talhada SS defense, Rubens Brasil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matías Brito. The Talhada SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matías Brito should have stopped the shot. Carlos Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson Neto having to interfere. Carlos Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Váldson Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matías Brito was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Rubens Brasil capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rubens Brasil really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Dráuzio Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Talhada SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Iacri's performance. The match ended with a win for Iacri.
