Didi Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cauan Vaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Vítor Carneiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cauan Vaz ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Abreu made a kick off. During the 52nd minute of the match Duda Bittencourt completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Duda Bittencourt a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 53rd match minute, Purple Haze Football was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th match minute, Freguezia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Paraense to maneuver through the defense. Dedê Correia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Freguezia's Inácio Toscano got a free kick in the 74th minute. Didi Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Abreu in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute Gilberto Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Purple Haze Football's zone, Adrianinho Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Didi Alcântara came out of the goal and Adrianinho Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Freguezia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
