When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Egídio Chaves sped through Toropi SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dinei Goiano. 61 minutes into the game, LegionáriosFC's Basílio Luz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dinei Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik França, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Egídio Chaves scored 11-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dinei Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the game, Erik França cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Dinei Goiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberto Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdemar Mazza in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Toropi SS's Zézinho Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 12-1. Erik França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Goiano having to interfere. Bebeto Diniz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 98th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
