Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dida Prata started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Serrito's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Montenegro came free, but Tião Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute, Rodolfo Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Luiz Paulo Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Serrito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Paulo Urbano couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute, Bernardinho Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Serrito's goalkeeper Tião Rezende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdemar Mazza. Toropi SS's Dinei Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dida Prata in the 18th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Serrito got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Ferreira. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Valdemar Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toropi SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdemar Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tião Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dida Prata in the 31st minute of play forced Toropi SS's goalkeeper Dinei Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dinei Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serrito's Dida Prata got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zézinho Montenegro to make the kick off. Toropi SS's Dinei Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dida Prata in the 55th minute of play. Valdemar Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tião Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdemar Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião Rezende having to interfere. Zézinho Montenegro took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tião Rezende. Tião Rezende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 72nd match minute, Toropi SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernão Baiano to maneuver through the defense. Wilian Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dinei Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Valdemar Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernão Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zézinho Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tião Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilian Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dinei Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toropi SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Dida Prata scored to the left of an out of position Dinei Goiano, making the score, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
