Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alan Melo started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Vânderson Proença recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Teles. Vânderson Proença showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Alan Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luís Salgado fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eva's protests and gave Luís Salgado a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of NOVORIZONTINO booed when Eva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Lenílson Costa made a precise shot to the right of Zeca da Rocha. NOVORIZONTINO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 18th match minute, Eva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Renan Furlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan Melo got free with Manuel Teles in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Alan Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vânderson Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Eva's Manuel Teles got control of the ball when Alan Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Alan Melo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Manuel Teles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Vânderson Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. NOVORIZONTINO's supporters rose to their feet, but Vânderson Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Teles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Furlan in the 41st minute of play forced NOVORIZONTINO's goalkeeper Zeca da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Alan Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeca da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Furlan in the 62nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the NOVORIZONTINO defense, Luís Salgado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeca da Rocha. The NOVORIZONTINO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeca da Rocha should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, NOVORIZONTINO's Zeca da Rocha got control of the ball when Lenílson Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, NOVORIZONTINO's Romeu Mesquita got a free kick in the 70th minute. Zeca da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenílson Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Melo in the 79th minute of play forced Eva's goalkeeper Manuel Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Vânderson Proença got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 played minutes Eva got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Costa. Vânderson Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Teles having to interfere. In the 93rd minute of the match Délio Galvão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Teles skillfully saved the ball. If Vânderson Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
