Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Tostão Prestes got free with Vivaldo Ramos in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 4th match minute, Agreate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Rezende to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Agreate getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Augusto Tepedino hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Váldson Catarinense in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrézinho Lago saved Agreate from getting behind. Pedrinho Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Eugenio Tulio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrézinho Lago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andrézinho Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armandinho Bueno during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eugenio Tulio shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Corixao's Amílton de Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Váldson Catarinense made a precise shot to the right of Andrézinho Lago. Agreate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Amílton de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Váldson Catarinense sped through Agreate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrézinho Lago. Váldson Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Andrézinho Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corixao's Váldson Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Agreate's zone, Amílton de Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrézinho Lago came out of the goal and Amílton de Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrézinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson Catarinense in the 38th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Corixao's Váldson Catarinense made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrézinho Lago was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Corixao were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Tepedino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Corixao's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Prestes came free, but Vivaldo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vivaldo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Prestes in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Prestes in the 64th minute of play forced Corixao's goalkeeper Vivaldo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Váldson Catarinense in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrézinho Lago saved Agreate from getting behind. In the 73rd match minute, Corixao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Pedrinho Valladares was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Agreate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Vivaldo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Prestes in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Agreate's Tostão Prestes got a free kick in the 84th minute. Amílton de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Lago having to interfere. Jeremias Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Amílton de Medeiros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrézinho Lago was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Tostão Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corixao's Vivaldo Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Prestes in the 95th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, João Carlos Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agreate's supporters rose to their feet, but João Carlos Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vivaldo Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corixao's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
