Jardel Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alfredinho Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Célio Cardoso took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cipriano Pinho to make any attempt to save it. Cipriano Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Cabori's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Santana came free, but Alfredinho Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Solonopole FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro das Neves to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Solonopole FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Pinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Paiva. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Jardel Santana got free with Alfredinho Gomes in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Célio Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Célio Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Célio Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Augusto Alagoano's late challenge caught a Cabori's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Augusto Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Solonopole FC's Pedro Augusto Alagoano got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Paiva in the 83rd minute of play forced Solonopole FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Solonopole FC's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Cardoso came free, but Cipriano Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
