Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Caetano Lago started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Vidigai FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Durval Hames hit a great ball. Luiz Paulo Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Horácio da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léo Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jonathan Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Maracaibo SC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Duda Soares hit a great ball. Léo Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Amadeu Novaes made a precise shot to the right of Horácio da Silva. Vidigai FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jonathan Fernandes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Caetano Lago showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Luiz Paulo Mota made a precise shot to the right of Horácio da Silva. Vidigai FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Belmiro Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio da Silva having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Vidigai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionísio Rossi to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Luiz Paulo Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu Novaes in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horácio da Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horácio da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Novaes in the 58th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duda Soares during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Maracaibo SC got a freekick which was hit by Duda Soares. If Amadeu Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Caetano Lago came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Vidigai FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano Lago couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Lago in the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Amadeu Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maracaibo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horácio da Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Luiz Paulo Mota came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Maracaibo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Paulo Mota couldn't finish the play. Luiz Paulo Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vidigai FC's Horácio da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Novaes in the 95th minute of play. When Almir Xavier fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vidigai FC's protests and gave Almir Xavier a yellow card for diving instead. Almir Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Horácio da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Maracaibo SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vidigai FC throughout the match.
