Vivaldo Vianna ran back to his position shaking his head. Wágner Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Eduardo Arantes's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Mulunga FC's Vivaldo Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivo Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Vivaldo Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mulunga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vivaldo Vianna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wágner Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Eduardo Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Branco having to interfere. A collision led to Mulunga FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Luiz Eduardo Arantes hit a great ball. Vivaldo Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wágner Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Vianna in the 38th minute of the match. Wágner Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Vianna in the 41st minute of play. Wágner Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Hames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute, Mulunga FC's Vivaldo Vianna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wágner Branco. Wágner Branco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Ivo Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Mulunga FC's Luiz Eduardo Arantes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wágner Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Eduardo Arantess short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Wágner Branco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Floreal's Wágner Branco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Floreal from getting a goal against them. Telmo Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Wágner Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vivaldo Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Branco having to interfere. Floreal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Vivaldo Vianna scored to the left of an out of position Wágner Branco, making the score, 0-2. If Luiz Eduardo Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Eduardo Arantes made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 82ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Wágner Branco would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Wágner Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Vianna in the 83rd minute of the match. Vivaldo Vianna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wágner Branco having to make a save. Luiz Eduardo Arantes struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Wágner Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mulunga FC. After having played for 90 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mulunga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Eduardo Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mulunga FC's Vivaldo Vianna in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Floreal's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Mulunga FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Floreal throughout the match.
