In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olinto's goalkeeper Marcos Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcos Costa made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Fabinho de Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Toninho Vieira struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Marcos Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcacus AD. In the 26th match minute, Alcacus AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Olinto's Magno Porto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alcacus AD. In the 28th minute, Osvaldo Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Zézinho Martins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kauã Freitas. Alcacus AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zézinho Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Olinto booed when Alcacus AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toninho Vieira to make the kick off. Kauã Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber Goiano in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Fabinho de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zézinho Martins got free with Kauã Freitas in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Olinto's Pedro Luiz Lara got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Fabinho de Amorim notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Olinto's Marcos Costa. Marcos Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alcacus AD's Kauã Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber Goiano in the 78th minute of play. Fabinho de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Costa having to interfere. If Fabinho de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Alcacus AD players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
