Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Quaresma started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, DMR ESPORTE CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. NICOLAS FC's João Pedro Ceresso quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dudu Magalhães, made in the 6th minute of the game. Enéas dos Santos made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Léo do Valle sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 10 minutes, João Pedro Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DMR ESPORTE CLUBE's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro Mattos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Nestor Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. NICOLAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enéas dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jefferson Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Mattos in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in NICOLAS FC's zone, Dadá Trigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson Motta came out of the goal and Dadá Trigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enéas dos Santos had great luck who in the 24thth minute grab hold of the ball when Dé Faustino from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 27 minutes into the match, NICOLAS FC's José Quaresma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enéas dos Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When DMR ESPORTE CLUBE's Dadá Trigo in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NICOLAS FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute, Dé Faustino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Enéas dos Santos, passed just outside the right post. 37 minutes into the game, Dudu Magalhães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DMR ESPORTE CLUBE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NICOLAS FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, DMR ESPORTE CLUBE's Dudu Magalhães got a free kick in the 38th minute. NICOLAS FC's Dé Faustino got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Doriva Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves José Quaresma could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Enéas dos Santos however easily saved by the left post. Jefferson Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, DMR ESPORTE CLUBE's João Pedro Mattos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jefferson Motta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If João Pedro Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Pedro Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jefferson Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jefferson Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. João Pedro Mattos struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Jefferson Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DMR ESPORTE CLUBE. João Pedro Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NICOLAS FC made a substitution. Washington Tande replaced Léo do Valle. Sebastião Botelho hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Trigo in the 76th minute of play forced NICOLAS FC's goalkeeper Jefferson Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, NICOLAS FC's José Quaresma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enéas dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Dé Faustino took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enéas dos Santos. Enéas dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. NICOLAS FC had played much better football throughout.
