Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kiko Coelho hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Carlinhos Vinhas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Amauri Gaspar. Ernani Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Enéas dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DMR ESPORTE CLUBE's Enéas dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Arruda in the 10th minute of play. Carlinhos Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Mattos in the 12th minute of play. When Dadá Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the DMR ESPORTE CLUBE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dadá Trigo couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute, João Pedro Mattos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlinhos Vinhas. The goal made the score 1-0. If Anísio Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Pedro Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Vinhas having to interfere. When Ernani Mota fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argirita FC's protests and gave Ernani Mota a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Argirita FC's Ernani Mota got a free kick in the 29th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anísio Arruda to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Anísio Arruda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enéas dos Santos. That made the score 2-1 in the 60 minute of play. Carlinhos Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Mattos in the 63rd minute of play. Ernani Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas dos Santos having to interfere. Amauri Gaspar hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ernani Mota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enéas dos Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Ernani Mota made a precise shot to the right of Enéas dos Santos. DMR ESPORTE CLUBE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernani Mota got free with Enéas dos Santos in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anísio Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas dos Santos having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Argirita FC's zone, João Pedro Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlinhos Vinhas came out of the goal and João Pedro Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dadá Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Vinhas having to interfere. Joel Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Argirita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. Anísio Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
