Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cambalacho F.C's Hermínio Koehler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Inácio Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-1 became the score in the 8th minute when Hermínio Koehler elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nelsinho Quirino during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nelsinho Quirino hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Inácio Albuquerque who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macajuba's Bebeto Seco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Jorginho de Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macajuba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cambalacho F.C the free kick. Jorginho de Carvalho hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Giovanni Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bebeto Seco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giovanni Cardozo ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Macajuba's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Albuquerque came free, but Bebeto Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Macajuba's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Albuquerque came free, but Bebeto Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Inácio Albuquerque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cambalacho F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. During the 39th minute of the match Nelsinho Quirino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nelsinho Quirino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Cambalacho F.C booed when Macajuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermínio Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macajuba's Bebeto Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Koehler in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Cambalacho F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriano Trancoso made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Macajuba got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Trancoso. When Giovanni Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Cambalacho F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Cardozo couldn't finish the play. Inácio Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Bebeto Seco made a huge save. If Inácio Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bebeto Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Bebeto Seco managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Cambalacho F.C's Giovanni Cardozo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hermínio Koehler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bebeto Seco having to make a save. Bebeto Seco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inácio Albuquerque went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Hermínio Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Seco having to interfere. With his leg Bebeto Seco managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Cambalacho F.C's Inácio Albuquerque fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanni Cardozo got free with Bebeto Seco in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bebeto Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Koehler in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Macajuba getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jacinto da Costa hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Giovanni Cardozo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bebeto Seco. The goal made the score 0-5. Bebeto Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Koehler in the 92nd minute of play forced Macajuba's goalkeeper Bebeto Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hermínio Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bebeto Seco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inácio Albuquerque in the 96th minute. Cambalacho F.C played a much better game than Macajuba and deserved their victory. The Macajuba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
