Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Belmiro do Vale started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Brasilandia's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro do Vale came free, but Manoel Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Brasilandia getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Simão Galvão hit a great ball. Cássio Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clemente Koehler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Fernando Antunes made a huge save. If Cássio Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th match minute, Brasilandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Galvão to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belmiro do Vale in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manoel Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cássio Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Manoel Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Brasilandia getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Frank Gonçalves hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute Belmiro do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Vargas took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manoel Nascimento. Manoel Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Percy Pena to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernando Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Pena in the 52nd minute of the match. Belmiro do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Nascimento having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lagarto EC defense, Percy Pena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Antunes. The Lagarto EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Antunes should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Lagarto EC's Luís Gustavo Rossi got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Clemente Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brasilandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cássio Vargas struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Manoel Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagarto EC. Luís Gustavo Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Fernando Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Pena in the 77th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes, Lagarto EC's Fernandão de Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manoel Nascimento came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lagarto EC reached it. If Belmiro do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Percy Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brasilandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Percy Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 minutes of play, Brasilandia's Willian Garcia made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there!
