TRIUNFO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Cristóvão de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hernani Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Urbano charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Urbano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guaianases getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Richard Urbano hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Pedrão Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guaianases's Pedrão Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Pedrão Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Guaianases fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrão Antunes couldn't finish the play. Abel Souto hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Armandinho Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. TRIUNFO's supporters rose to their feet, but Armandinho Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lauro Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abel Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Tinoco having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Antunes in the 65th minute of play forced S.E. TRIUNFO's goalkeeper Hernani Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pedrão Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Guaianases fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrão Antunes couldn't finish the play. Hernani Santana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. If Pedrão Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Santana having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
