Adrianinho Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Erik Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Atlético PR's Donato Guedes got control of the ball when Emanuel Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute Vitório Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrianinho Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Faria having to interfere. Ramiro Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ademar Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Atlético PR's Ramiro Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carapo's Joel Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carapo's Erik Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Lopez in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitório Motta to strike the kick off in the second half. Ramiro Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 60 minutes, Emanuel Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carapo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ademar Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Guedes having to interfere. Rômulo Berger stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Donato Guedes. 1-0. After 87 minutes of play, Carapo's Emanuel Souza made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Guedes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Atlético PR's zone, Emanuel Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Guedes came out of the goal and Emanuel Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute Vitório Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
