MILAN- Standby got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Brodel. Dagoberto Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Pedro Luiz Urbano notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Fama's Jefferson Magalhães. Jefferson Magalhães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eusébio de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Edmundo Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles de Brito in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Fama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Soares to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the match Marcinho Simões sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jefferson Magalhães skillfully saved the ball. If Charles de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Dagoberto Paulista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundo Lara was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Pedro Luiz Urbano struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jefferson Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C. MILAN- Standby. In the 29thth minute of the game Dagoberto Paulista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C. MILAN- Standby's Edmundo Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmundo Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A.C. MILAN- Standby's Edmundo Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles de Brito in the 32nd minute of play. Edmundo Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles de Brito in the 33rd minute of play. Hermínio Brodel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jefferson Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Cristóvão Freire's late challenge caught a Fama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristóvão Freire helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charles de Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Cristóvão Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pedro Luiz Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, José Pedro Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C. MILAN- Standby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fama the free kick. In the 59th minute, José Pedro Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dagoberto Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertinho Freire hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Marcinho Simões sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fama's Jefferson Magalhães didn't even have to move. 66 minutes into the match, Fama's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz Urbano came free, but Jefferson Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of A.C. MILAN- Standby booed when Fama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Fama's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz Urbano came free, but Jefferson Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, A.C. MILAN- Standby's Pedro Luiz Urbano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jefferson Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Luiz Urbano struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Jefferson Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Luiz Urbano went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Dagoberto Paulista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Edmundo Lara made a huge save. Dagoberto Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Lara having to interfere. In the 89th minute Charles de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fama's Jefferson Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Freire in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A.C. MILAN- Standby fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
