Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when César Coelho took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zé Pedro Simão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nildo Araújo in the 3rd minute. If César Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nildo Araújo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Zé Pedro Simão made a huge save. In the 9th match minute, Bombonagem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Peruipe AD's Ruy Simão couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bombonagem. When Waldemar Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bombonagem's protests and gave Waldemar Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Waldemar Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nildo Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Sarmento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldemar Tande went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Waldemar Tande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Sarmento was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Peruipe AD's zone, Nildo Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Pedro Simão came out of the goal and Nildo Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Bombonagem's César Coelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Pedro Simão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zé Pedro Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Coelho in the 41st minute of play. Enio Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waldemar Tande made a kick off. If Waldemar Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruy Simão during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Peruipe AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peruipe AD's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Simão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zé Pedro Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Araújo in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Peruipe AD's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Araújo came free, but Zé Pedro Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Peruipe AD's Enio Carneiro got a free kick in the 70th minute. Nildo Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Zé Pedro Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Bombonagem's César Coelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Pedro Simão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nildo Araújo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Pedro Simão was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Peruipe AD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
