Bacaina's Zézinho da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Varela in the 10th minute of play. Zé Paulo Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Zézinho da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 15 minutes on the clock, Alfredo Passos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Bacaina a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elder Freitas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Geléia Real's Vinícius Damião. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jardel Brodel got free with Vinícius Damião in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jardel Brodel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Vinícius Damião made a huge save. After 26 minutes, Nilton Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geléia Real and the Bacaina players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Geléia Real was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. After 31 minutes, Rafa Cardozo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geléia Real and the Bacaina players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Tinoco in the 34th minute of play forced Geléia Real's goalkeeper Vinícius Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael Rosado struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Zézinho da Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geléia Real. Vinícius Damião made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jardel Brodel in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Geléia Real's Raphael Rosado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zézinho da Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raphael Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Durval Tinoco to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Geléia Real got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Freire. Vinícius Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Brodel in the 56th minute of the match. If Zé Paulo Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raphael Rosado in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zézinho da Silva saved Bacaina from getting behind. Vinícius Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Tinoco in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Enrique Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geléia Real's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 minutes of play, Bacaina's Durval Tinoco made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinícius Damião was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Raphael Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zézinho da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Rosado in the 84th minute of the match. Zézinho da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Rosado in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Geléia Real's Raphael Rosado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zézinho da Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bacaina were victorious despite being under pressure from Geléia Real for much of the match.
