Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ronaldinho Vides started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Armandinho Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Zézinho da Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Araponga's Armandinho Mendonça got a free kick in the 11th minute. Durval Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Velasco having to interfere. In the 16thth minute of the game Jardel Brodel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Araponga's Horácio Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Durval Tinoco in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horácio Velasco saved Araponga from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Bacaina's Luís Gustavo Pena got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 32 minutes of play, Bacaina's Jardel Brodel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horácio Velasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35thth minute of the game Durval Tinoco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Araponga's Horácio Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexsandro Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexsandro Falcão charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexsandro Falcão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bacaina booed when Araponga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Durval Tinoco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Durval Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Velasco having to interfere. Horácio Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Tinoco in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Jardel Brodel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Bacaina's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Vides came free, but Zézinho da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durval Tinoco in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horácio Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Durval Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Jardel Brodel notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Araponga's Horácio Velasco. Horácio Velasco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Durval Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Horácio Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durval Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Velasco having to interfere. Araponga's Horácio Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Araponga from getting a goal against them. Jardel Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jardel Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Horácio Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Ronaldinho Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bacaina players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
