The referee ignored Lebeira Clube de Desporto's protests and gave João Adolfo Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Lebeira Clube de Desporto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Adolfo Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Adrianinho Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Gabriel Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Meira in the 23rd minute of play. Geovânio Viana hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of Jeremias booed when Lebeira Clube de Desporto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodriguinho Pitta scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Prata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adrianinho Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gabriel Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodriguinho Pitta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Gabriel Prata made a huge save. Lebeira Clube de Desporto's Adilson de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Eger in the 45th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lebeira Clube de Desporto defense, Bruno Eger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adilson de Barros. The Lebeira Clube de Desporto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adilson de Barros should have stopped the shot.
