In the 7th match minute, Senandes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Netto to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Salgueirinho SS's Edvaldo Marques tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ivo Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salgueirinho SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivo Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivo Leme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Prata read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, Senandes FC's Sandro Prata got control of the ball when Nelson de Queiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vitinho Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Nóbrega having to interfere. If Gino Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gino Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Meira in the 32nd minute of play. Senandes FC's Sandro Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Senandes FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vitinho Prado in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Vitinho Prado, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 39 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gabriel Nóbrega was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitinho Prado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivo Leme struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Sandro Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salgueirinho SS. A hard shot 58 in the game by Gino Meira from a close distance when the talented Gabriel Nóbrega managed to make a qualified save. Salgueirinho SS's players were relieved. Gino Meira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gabriel Nóbrega firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sandro Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Leme in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Gláuber da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salgueirinho SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Senandes FC the free kick. After 68 played minutes Salgueirinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber da Costa. After 79 minutes of play, Salgueirinho SS's Ivo Leme made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandro Prata was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Leme in the 83rd minute of play forced Senandes FC's goalkeeper Sandro Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ivo Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot.
