If Victor Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Pereira having to interfere. Artur Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Dinei Rosado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dé Pereira was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Artur Pitta struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Dé Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabeceirinha EC. In the 34th match minute, Cabeceirinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. Romário Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Fontes in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Marquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinho Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Victor Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute of the match Téo Gomes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinho Marquez skillfully saved the ball. Artur Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Dé Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Freire to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cabeceirinha EC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Valdo Mello hit a great ball. Dé Pereira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinei Rosado went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gil Moreira during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 66 minutes into the game, one of Cabeceirinha EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Marapuama's Zézinho Duarte got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Claudinho Marquez. In the 81st minute, Ezequiel Fontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marapuama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The supporters of Cabeceirinha EC booed when Marapuama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 102nd minute Victor Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marapuama's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
