Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdo Quirino started the match with the kick off. Afonso Fontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipe Massa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Wiliam Veloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peabiru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pico SC the free kick. Wiliam Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Leonardo Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match, Edmílson Nogueira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wiliam de Godoy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hernani Negri hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Edmílson Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam de Godoy having to interfere. Felipe Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Peabiru's Edmílson Nogueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wiliam de Godoy. Wiliam de Godoy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 26 played minutes Peabiru got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Nogueira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Quirino in the 28th minute of play forced Pico SC's goalkeeper Wiliam de Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Valdo Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiliam de Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pico SC's goalkeeper Wiliam de Godoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Valdo Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peabiru's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdo Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiliam de Godoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pico SC's André Nogueira suffered a concussion after 44 minutes and had to leave the field. 44 minutes into the game, Valdo Quirino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peabiru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pico SC the free kick. A collision led to Peabiru getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Valdo Quirino hit a great ball. Edmílson Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Fontes to make the kick off. Edson Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Wiliam de Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 99 minutes, Valdo Quirino made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pico SC's Wiliam de Godoy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Peabiru were the better team. Peabiru's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
