Cristian Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Alan Guedes made a huge save. If Roberto Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Alvarenga came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Loisiania SS's Roberto Correia. But to his dismay, Roberto Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cássio Alvarenga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ademar Pereira's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Catauara's Cássio Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Pereira in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Loisiania SS's Mateus de Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cássio Alvarenga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 19 played minutes Loisiania SS got a freekick which was hit by Nando Lopez. 27 minutes into the game, Loisiania SS's Ademar Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cássio Alvarenga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 34 minutes into the match, Catauara's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Pereira came free, but Cássio Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus de Azevedo in the 35th minute of the match. Nando Lopez struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Cássio Alvarenga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loisiania SS. When João Vítor Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Catauara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Vítor Vieira couldn't finish the play. Lauro de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Catauara defense, Mateus de Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Alvarenga. The Catauara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Alvarenga should have stopped the shot. The Catauara players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Loisiania SS were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Vítor Vieira was the one to do the kick off. Cássio Alvarenga made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Mateus de Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Cássio Alvarenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nando Lopez in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus de Azevedo in the 58th minute of play forced Catauara's goalkeeper Cássio Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Catauara's Cássio Alvarenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Catauara from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the game, Lauro de Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loisiania SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catauara the free kick. In the 64th minute, Lauro de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Vítor Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Guedes having to interfere. João Vítor Vieira might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan Guedes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Vítor Vieira ran back to his position shaking his head. João Vítor Vieira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alan Guedes having to make a save. Nando Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Mateus de Azevedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cássio Alvarenga, 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mateus de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loisiania SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Alan Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If João Vítor Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Vítor Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alan Guedes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
