Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Catauara's goalkeeper Cássio Alvarenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascall Heije. Catauara's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ramón Vale 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Cássio Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John van der Gun in the 9th minute of the match. Cássio Alvarenga acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bebeto Nóbrega. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascall Heije got free with Cássio Alvarenga in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, John van der Gun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio Alvarenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 16 minutes, John van der Gun made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Catauara's Cássio Alvarenga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Itai's Evaristo Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Vieira in the 20th minute of play. Pascall Heije's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cássio Alvarenga firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cláudio Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Manoel Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Itai's Evaristo Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Valadares in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Itai's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Valadares came free, but Evaristo Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Itai defense, João Vítor Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Luz. The Itai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Luz should have stopped the shot. Itai's Evaristo Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Vieira in the 33rd minute of play. Acácio Rosa hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Aleandro Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Itai's John van der Gun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cássio Alvarenga. Cássio Alvarenga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Vítor Vieira made a kick off. Cristian Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Evaristo Luz made a huge save. When Pascall Heije came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Itai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascall Heije couldn't finish the play. If John van der Gun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascall Heije in the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, John van der Gun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio Alvarenga. Catauara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John van der Gun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. After a rather tough play, Itai's Acácio Rosa got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 76 played minutes Catauara got a freekick which was hit by Aleandro Fernandez. 78 minutes into the match, Catauara's goal looked a bit too open when John van der Gun came free, but Cássio Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascall Heije, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Vieira in the 81st minute of play forced Itai's goalkeeper Evaristo Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Bebeto Nóbrega shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cássio Alvarenga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Itai's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Vieira came free, but Evaristo Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Catauara players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Itai.
