The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Evtim Nenov fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Impávido Galcölosso EC's protests and gave Evtim Nenov a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Impávido Galcölosso EC got a freekick which was hit by Evtim Nenov. Alfredão Siqueira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredão Siqueira got free with Pelle Thiellesen in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 26 played minutes Impávido Galcölosso EC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias dos Santos. After 31 minutes, Sharizan Chew mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Impávido Galcölosso EC and the Petunia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, one of Impávido Galcölosso EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Impávido Galcölosso EC. Raí Breckenfeld shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Evtim Nenov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Impávido Galcölosso EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evtim Nenov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Evtim Nenov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evtim Nenov might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorian Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evtim Nenov ran back to his position shaking his head. Luciano do Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Dorian Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Impávido Galcölosso EC.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedito da Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Siqueira in the 58th minute of play forced Impávido Galcölosso EC's goalkeeper Pelle Thiellesen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evtim Nenov kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Impávido Galcölosso EC's Pelle Thiellesen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão Siqueira in the 60th minute of play. Pelle Thiellesen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão Siqueira in the 63rd minute of play. If Benedito da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 74th minute of the match Evtim Nenov completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Evtim Nenov a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Petunia booed when Impávido Galcölosso EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evtim Nenov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Benedito da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petunia's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedito da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pelle Thiellesen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Impávido Galcölosso EC's Pelle Thiellesen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito da Cunha in the 79th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Alfredão Siqueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Petunia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 89 minutes into the match, Petunia's goalkeeper Dorian Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano do Nascimento. Zacarias dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Silva having to interfere. When Luciano do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Impávido Galcölosso EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Impávido Galcölosso EC booed when Petunia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luís Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Impávido Galcölosso EC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Petunia had won, even though Impávido Galcölosso EC had held more of the ball.
