In the 4th minute, Antônio Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Dantas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Zacarias Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Botelho in the 9th minute of the match. If Matheus Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Narciso Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Santos in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Maracacume's Matheus Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Narciso Dantas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Falcão Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Zacarias Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matheus Chaves hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Matheus Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Narciso Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maracacume. Narciso Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, Maracacume's Antônio Santos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Furukuteu AC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Matheus Chaves hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 51 played minutes Maracacume got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Bertassi. In the 56th match minute, Furukuteu AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jânio dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Furukuteu AC's goalkeeper Narciso Dantas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matheus Fonseca. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Antônio Santos took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Narciso Dantas to make any attempt to save it. Tostão Bertassi's late challenge caught a Furukuteu AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tostão Bertassi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Furukuteu AC booed when Maracacume was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Laerte Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Maracacume's zone, Natã Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Bastos came out of the goal and Natã Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Antônio Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jânio dos Santos during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jânio dos Santos hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Santos in the 96th minute of play forced Furukuteu AC's goalkeeper Narciso Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Maracacume eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
