Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lino Paulista kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Peroba EC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Claudinho Gonçalves hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, one of Potter FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Potter FC's Maicon de Barros got control of the ball when Doriva Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Potter FC's Nilton Senna got a free kick in the 19th minute. Potter FC's Maicon de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Alvarenga in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Doriva Barral fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maicon de Barros, passed just outside the right post. Nildo Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Potter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Doriva Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon de Barros having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Peroba EC's Nildo Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Peroba EC from getting a goal against them. If Vivaldo Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Peroba EC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Luís Fábio Arce hit a great ball. Potter FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guga Cordeiro in the 76th minute. The corner ended in Guga Cordeiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peroba EC's Nildo Goiano did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Peroba EC's zone, Oswaldo Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nildo Goiano came out of the goal and Oswaldo Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Peroba EC's Claudinho Azevedo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Lino Paulista struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Nildo Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potter FC. Potter FC's Maicon de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Barral in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Paulista during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Peroba EC booed when Potter FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Peroba EC fully deserved thier win.
