Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Aguiar SS's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reginaldo Rosa. Reginaldo Rosa came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luiz Fabiano Braga could save by the left post. After 5 minutes, Chiquinho Jacinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aguiar SS and the Mabederi SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aguiar SS's Chiquinho Jacinto got a free kick in the 5th minute. Yuri Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Chiquinho Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Velasco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luiz Fabiano Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Sena in the 21st minute of play. Mabederi SS's Claudinho Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Fabiano Braga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reginaldo Rosa in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Yuri Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguiar SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuri Meireles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fabiano Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 35 minutes, Claudinho Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mabederi SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuri Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano Moreno having to interfere. Claudinho Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Fabiano Braga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinho Sena was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Meireles in the 55th minute of play forced Mabederi SS's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Claudinho Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fabiano Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinho Sena in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fabiano Braga saved Aguiar SS from getting behind. 68 minutes into the game, Pedro Luiz Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguiar SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mabederi SS the free kick. After 68 played minutes Aguiar SS got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Araújo. Mabederi SS's Luís Fabiano Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber França in the 71st minute of play. In the 77th minute, Kléber França ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fabiano Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Yuri Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguiar SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuri Meireles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fabiano Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kléber França's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Luís Fabiano Moreno skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kléber França was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Aguiar SS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luís Fabiano Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kléber França in the 91st minute. When Deivid Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguiar SS's protests and gave Deivid Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mabederi SS booed when Aguiar SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball.
