Ernani Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Samuel Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Jaguarisinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Abreu couldn't finish the play. Lazio RS's Ernani Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Lazio RS from getting a goal against them. Jaguarisinho's Kauan do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Neiva in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Elivélton Sá made a precise shot to the right of Kauan do Valle. Jaguarisinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 44th minute, Vitinho Neiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kauan do Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitinho Neiva made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Cunha in the 53rd minute of play forced Lazio RS's goalkeeper Ernani Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Vitinho Neiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lazio RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lazio RS!
