The supporters of Garimpo booed when Grêmio Ruralino - OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Renatinho Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vivaldo Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Garimpo's Renatinho Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Rosa in the 69th minute of play. Francisco Arósio charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Arósio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Grêmio Ruralino - OFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramiro Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Moreira having to interfere. Renatinho Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Rosa's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Garimpo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
