Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Golden Creek's zone, Edmundo Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Roberto de Andrade came out of the goal and Edmundo Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Paulo Furtado took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Moura. Nestor Moura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edmundo Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Zé Roberto de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Basílio Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Dante's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Zé Roberto de Andrade skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Itacuruba's Adalmo Amaral shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zé Roberto de Andrade but with some difficulty. Nestor Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Furtado in the 21st minute of the match. Zé Paulo Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Nestor Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Reis in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Moura saved Itacuruba from getting behind. Zé Paulo Furtado took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Moura. Nestor Moura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Zé Paulo Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Creek's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Paulo Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Itacuruba's Nestor Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Furtado in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itacuruba's goalkeeper Nestor Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Joélson Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itacuruba and the Golden Creek players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Itacuruba's Joélson Rosado got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Ismael Reis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Creek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Reis made a kick off. Adalmo Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Basílio Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itacuruba's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Roberto de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonel Moreno hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ismael Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Moura having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Zé Paulo Furtado notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Itacuruba's Nestor Moura. Nestor Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Roberto de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Dante in the 73rd minute of the match. A hard shot 78 in the game by Ismael Reis from a close distance when the talented Nestor Moura managed to make a qualified save. Itacuruba's players were relieved. A collision led to Itacuruba getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Wilian Paulista hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Ismael Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Itacuruba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joélson Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Zé Paulo Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Creek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paulo Furtado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Itacuruba's goalkeeper Nestor Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Paulo Furtado. In the 93rd minute of the match, Zé Paulo Furtado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nestor Moura was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nestor Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Reis in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over Golden Creek could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Itacuruba throughout the match.
