Ismael Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Ramalho having to interfere. Tadeo Zapater struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Zé Roberto de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tabajara. 14 minutes into the match, Mo Xiang Qi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Roberto de Andrade. Golden Creek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mo Xiang Qi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 18th match minute, Golden Creek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Ademir Saraiva hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Tabajara's Cristiano Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Tabajara from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute of the match, Ramón Barros got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristiano Ramalho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Mo Xiang Qi came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Tabajara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mo Xiang Qi couldn't finish the play. Leonel Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-1 became the score in the 30th minute when Zé Paulo Furtado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Paulo Furtado got free with Cristiano Ramalho in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Tabajara's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Reis came free, but Cristiano Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Golden Creek booed when Tabajara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Tabajara's goalkeeper Cristiano Ramalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Paulo Furtado. After some careless play in the Tabajara defense, Ismael Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristiano Ramalho. The Tabajara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristiano Ramalho should have stopped the shot. Ramón Barros's late challenge caught a Tabajara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramón Barros helped the player get up and apologised. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mo Xiang Qi made a kick off. Cristiano Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Leonel Moreno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Creek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Cristiano Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Moreno in the 58th minute of the match. Ramón Barros took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Ramalho. Cristiano Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Cristiano Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Tabajara's Cristiano Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Sarmento in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, Golden Creek's Zé Roberto de Andrade got control of the ball when Tadeo Zapater tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristiano Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Ismael Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Ramalho was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, Tabajara's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Barros came free, but Cristiano Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Hamílton Sarmento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano Ramalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. A collision led to Golden Creek getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Paulinho Catarinense hit a great ball. After 95 minutes of play, Golden Creek's Zé Paulo Furtado made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristiano Ramalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Golden Creek had played much better football throughout.
