Tabajara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itacuruba the free kick. A collision led to Tabajara getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Lino Hermes hit a great ball. Cristiano Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Tabajara's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Dante came free, but Cristiano Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tadeo Zapater had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Basílio Toledo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Tadeo Zapater fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Moura having to interfere. Cristiano Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Mangueira in the 33rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mo Xiang Qi to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Ramalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basílio Travassos went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Cristiano Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kauan Mangueira in the 59th minute. Tabajara's Lino Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabajara's goalkeeper Cristiano Ramalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mo Xiang Qi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Moura having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Itacuruba's Kauan Mangueira got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th match minute, Itacuruba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Romero to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Ademir Saraiva sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Itacuruba's Nestor Moura didn't even have to move. If Mo Xiang Qi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Itacuruba's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
