Cobe AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brockman Millar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Luciano Mumbach successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 7th minute, Gugu Vale made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Mumbach. Mossoro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Brockman Millar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Luciano Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Virgílio Vides fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mossoro's protests and gave Virgílio Vides a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cobe AD booed when Mossoro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brockman Millar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Brockman Millar came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Cobe AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brockman Millar couldn't finish the play. Brockman Millar struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Luciano Mumbach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cobe AD. Orlando Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Pinheiro in the 20th minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Brockman Millar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mossoro's Luciano Mumbach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Cobe AD getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Geraldo Paraíba hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Benedito Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz Pinheiro in the 33rd minute of play forced Cobe AD's goalkeeper Orlando Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brockman Millar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Mumbach having to interfere. Luciano Mumbach was a little too slow when Brockman Millar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-0. Geraldo Paraíba hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mossoro getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Juvenal Campidelis hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Brockman Millar might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luciano Mumbach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brockman Millar ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Brockman Millar put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luciano Mumbach. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mossoro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cobe AD.
