The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Vinícius Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Fumacinha Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinícius Urbano couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Amadeu Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The World Of Brisas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Francisco Beti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Pinho in the 12th minute of play. Giovanni Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Mendonça in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Fumacinha Team's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Mendonça came free, but Giovanni Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fumacinha Team's zone, Afonsinho Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovanni Mendonça came out of the goal and Afonsinho Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 16 played minutes World Of Brisas got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Sena. Giovanni Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Palmeira in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Thiago Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fumacinha Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave World Of Brisas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fumacinha Team's Thiago Queiroz got a free kick in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Amadeu Sena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovanni Mendonça. Fumacinha Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeu Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 26th minute, but Francisco Beti got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving World Of Brisas hanging dry this time. In the 28th match minute, Fumacinha Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Couto to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 31 in the game by Vinícius Urbano from a close distance when the talented Francisco Beti managed to make a qualified save. World Of Brisas's players were relieved. Giovanni Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Palmeira in the 33rd minute of the match. After 37 played minutes World Of Brisas got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Mendonça. 39 minutes into the match, Fumacinha Team's goal looked a bit too open when Afonsinho Félix came free, but Giovanni Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovanni Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Afonsinho Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fumacinha Team's Ronaldo Couto suffered a concussion in the 47th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Giovanni Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored World Of Brisas's protests and gave Giovanni Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, World Of Brisas's Giovanni Palmeira got a free kick in the 48th minute. After the first half World Of Brisas were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th match minute, Fumacinha Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Fumacinha Team's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar Ferraz came free, but Giovanni Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of World Of Brisas booed when Fumacinha Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Afonsinho Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, World Of Brisas's Afonsinho Félix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovanni Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luizinho Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luizinho Favoretto came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Fumacinha Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizinho Favoretto couldn't finish the play. Vinícius Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Francisco Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonsinho Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Mendonça having to interfere. Fumacinha Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Valdomiro Mendonça scored to the left of an out of position Giovanni Mendonça, making the score, 0-3. 96 minutes into the match, Fumacinha Team's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Palmeira came free, but Giovanni Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
