Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eugênio Zonta started the match with the kick off. Alexsandro Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugênio Zonta was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Rogério Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Acurui! Acurui:s Natã Jacinto showed great skill when he stopped Filipe Chaves:s penalty. Natã Jacinto came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Alvorada SS's Filipe Chaves. But to his dismay, Filipe Chaves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alvorada SS's Sílvio Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Alvorada SS from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugênio Zonta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sílvio Massa. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. Eugênio Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Massa having to interfere. With a little luck, Alvorada SS's Sílvio Massa got control of the ball when Alexsandro Xavier tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, Renatinho Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Eugênio Zonta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Acurui's Natã Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Simões in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rogério Simões made the kick off in the second half. Rogério Simões hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Alexsandro Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sílvio Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexsandro Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vito Brasil fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvorada SS's protests and gave Vito Brasil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Alvorada SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Alvorada SS's Rogério Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugênio Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Massa having to interfere. After 80 minutes of play, Acurui's Eugênio Zonta made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Massa was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Alvorada SS getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Nico Cearense hit a great ball. Sílvio Massa came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Acurui's Alexsandro Xavier. But to his dismay, Alexsandro Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Donatello Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Natã Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acurui walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
