Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cléberson Favoretto kicked off to start the match. Ademar Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléberson Favoretto in the 5th minute of play forced Tourao's goalkeeper Laerte da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Umarizeiras EC's Ademar Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edu Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto de Alcântara having to interfere. Edu Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Augusto de Alcântara having to make a save. Fábio Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Augusto de Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. When Filipe Torres fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Umarizeiras EC's protests and gave Filipe Torres a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tourao booed when Umarizeiras EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tourao's Luiz Eduardo Lopes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by José Augusto de Alcântara but with some difficulty. Umarizeiras EC's José Augusto de Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Umarizeiras EC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Ademar Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laerte da Mata was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. A collision led to Tourao getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Luciano Cunha hit a great ball. If Ademar Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. José Augusto de Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edu Lara went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Umarizeiras EC's Laerte da Mata threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cléberson Favoretto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Laerte da Mata didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Cléberson Favoretto struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Laerte da Mata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umarizeiras EC. Umarizeiras EC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
