Zé Pedro Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Nicolo having to make a save. Zé Pedro Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Pimenta during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Curitybanos EC booed when Nödt Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Curitybanos EC's Pedro Luiz Barbosa got a free kick in the 12th minute. Filipe Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Nödt Football Club's Víktor Fantini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agostinho Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Víktor Fantini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antonio Nicolo came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Curitybanos EC's Zé Pedro Santana. But to his dismay, Zé Pedro Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 64th match minute, Nödt Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Paulo Porto made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Otávio de Carvalho immediately put the ball in play. Nödt Football Club's Antonio Nicolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Senna in the 89th minute of play. The Nödt Football Club players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Curitybanos EC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
