The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elias Prata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Augusto Moreno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Naldo Mandrak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dorival Varela. Miraselva's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eriberto Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Dorival Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Carneiro in the 28th minute of play. Alessandro Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardinho Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Varela having to interfere. Eliseu Paulista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but João Augusto Moreno made a huge save. The supporters of Tias da Cantina 2 booed when Miraselva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernão Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseu Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. João Augusto Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Alessandro Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Dorival Varela made a huge save. During the 72nd minute of the match Fernão Campidelis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fernão Campidelis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Fernão Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Eriberto Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Prata in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Augusto Moreno saved Tias da Cantina 2 from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Eliseu Paulista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Augusto Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Percy Sampaio struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Dorival Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tias da Cantina 2. With a little luck, Miraselva's Dorival Varela got control of the ball when Alessandro Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line.
