The tension between the Taperuaba and the Guaporanga AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abel Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Taperuaba's zone, Kléberson Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Sabóia came out of the goal and Kléberson Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Taperuaba's Zé Carlos Batista in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guaporanga AD's goalie prevented a goal. After 20 played minutes Guaporanga AD got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Bertassi. After having played for 21 minutes, Zé Carlos Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taperuaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Carlos Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luciano Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Xavier in the 26th minute of play. Felippe Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Luciano Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Zé Carlos Batista sped through Guaporanga AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luciano Torres. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felippe Xavier in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Torres saved Guaporanga AD from getting behind. Pedrinho Antunes hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Taperuaba's zone, Kléberson Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Carlos Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Torres having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Zé Carlos Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Guaporanga AD's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos Batista came free, but Luciano Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felippe Xavier got free with Luciano Torres in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taperuaba's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
