Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when José Batista got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Walmyr Tinoco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wesley Guerra. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Romeu Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Damião in the 13th minute of play. Medonho EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Walmyr Tinoco scored to the left of an out of position Wesley Guerra, making the score, 2-0. After 27 minutes, Ulisses Mineiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medonho EC and the Lipo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Walmyr Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Wesley Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Walmyr Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Lipo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmyr Tinoco couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Medonho EC's goalkeeper Wesley Guerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute Walmyr Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Medonho EC's Amadeu Prado got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Didi Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lipo's supporters rose to their feet, but Didi Dionísio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wesley Guerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, Medonho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Walmyr Tinoco came free, but Wesley Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Didi Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Guerra having to interfere. Ulisses Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Batista having to interfere. Yan Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Gustavo Britto's late challenge caught a Medonho EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lipo's Luiz Gustavo Britto got a free kick in the 77th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Medonho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Walmyr Tinoco came free, but Wesley Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Medonho EC booed when Lipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes Medonho EC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Paraense. Didi Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wesley Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Meireles in the 97th minute of play forced Medonho EC's goalkeeper Wesley Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Lipo were the better team. Lipo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
