Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Denílson Pirani made the kick off and thus started the match. 2 minutes into the game, Victor Meira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itapicuru SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuparaque FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Itapicuru SS's Victor Meira got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Denílson Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuparaque FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denílson Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davi Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Sarmento in the 9th minute of play. Custódio Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Macedo having to interfere. Raimundo Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuparaque FC's goalkeeper Olívio Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victor Meiras short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Olívio Macedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 32 minutes, Victor Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapicuru SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olívio Macedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Custódio Travassos's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Cuparaque FC's Olívio Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Custódio Travassos in the 39th minute of play. Victor Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Custódio Travassos to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Itapicuru SS's goalkeeper Davi Teles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Nunes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Pirani in the 58th minute of play forced Itapicuru SS's goalkeeper Davi Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davi Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Nunes in the 61st minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Custódio Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapicuru SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Custódio Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th match minute, Cuparaque FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Custódio Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Olívio Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Itapicuru SS booed when Cuparaque FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olívio Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Meira in the 91st minute of play. Victor Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Itapicuru SS were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cuparaque FC to leave the ground with a draw.
