Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Percival Mello started the match with the kick off. Doriva Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christiano de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Palmeira having to interfere. Kiko Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute of the match Charles Reis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kiko Palmeira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Real Santos's Doriva Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Santos's Washington Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Mello in the 17th minute of play. Kiko Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Prado in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Fabiano Prado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Washington Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Real Santos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes, Afonso Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almeirim and the Real Santos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Afonso Mendonça hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jardel de Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Washington Lima made a huge save. Doriva Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Palmeira having to interfere. Fabiano Prado scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kiko Palmeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caco Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kiko Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Almeirim getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Gaúcho hit a great ball. Real Santos's Renan Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Fabiano Prado made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Prado in the 57th minute of play forced Almeirim's goalkeeper Kiko Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Afonso Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel de Brito in the 60th minute of play forced Real Santos's goalkeeper Washington Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Renan Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Caco Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Santos's supporters rose to their feet, but Caco Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiko Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Renan Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Afonso Mendonça was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. In the 78th match minute, Almeirim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Caco Valle struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Kiko Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Santos. Kiko Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Prado in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Almeirim getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Wilian Sá hit a great ball. Real Santos's Doriva Leão managed to work through Almeirim's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Doriva Leão dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almeirim's goalkeeper Kiko Palmeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabiano Prado did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Kiko Palmeira 89 minutes into the match. Fabiano Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Almeirim's goalkeeper Kiko Palmeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Prado. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Doriva Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Santos's supporters rose to their feet, but Doriva Leão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiko Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Real Santos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Almeirim throughout the match.
