Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dário Recife got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Xorroxo's zone, Basílio Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermínio de Lara came out of the goal and Basílio Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Benjamim Bueno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xorroxo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quissamar FC the free kick. A collision led to Xorroxo getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Benjamim Bueno hit a great ball. Geovani de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Christiano Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, Xorroxo's Geovani de Godoi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christiano Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovani de Godoi got free with Christiano Ramos in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Dário Recife fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Christiano Ramos, passed just outside the right post. Xorroxo's Geovani de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christiano Ramos made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Geovani de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. When Dário Recife came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Xorroxo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dário Recife couldn't finish the play. If Geovani de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dário Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xorroxo's Geovani de Godoi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dário Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Christiano Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Geovani de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xorroxo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovani de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Quissamar FC's goalkeeper Christiano Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geovani de Godoi. Basílio Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Pedro Soeiro fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quissamar FC's protests and gave Pedro Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Quissamar FC's Pedro Soeiro got a free kick in the 69th minute. Quissamar FC's Christiano Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Recife in the 72nd minute of play. When Fabiano Barreto fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xorroxo's protests and gave Fabiano Barreto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Quissamar FC. Sidnei Rosado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hermínio de Lara. 2-1. Geovani de Godoi charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovani de Godoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geovani de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Hermínio de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Geovani de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Recife in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christiano Ramos saved Quissamar FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Geovani de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xorroxo's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani de Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christiano Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xorroxo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
